Other European Frequent Flyer Programs - AZ Airbus IFE
Has anyone really gotten into the AZ IFE comedy routines they play on short/medium haul routes? It never ceases to crack me up what they play on the monitors. It does make the flight go by quickly. Italians are known for being a bit conservative in public. With these videos though, it is one roar of out-loud laughter after another for the entire flight. Every airline should employ these types of videos for short-haul stuff. Even LiarAir could passify some of its cramped pax if they showed these outrageous clips.

I just do the long haul, (no IFE in the back of the bus) and short hops on AZ express. I'll be trying some of their inter-europe later this year, I'll look for that. Thanks for the heads up.
BTW, on the subject of Italian short humor, be sure to check out Bruno Bozzetto's flash animation- just google him, especially look for "Italians and Europeans"... that one includes a classic airplane landing segment, which, like the rest of that animation, is right on target.

Hi!
Just maybe a tip, if you have any headphones, better still those u get from the longhaul with AZ itself, bring it along and u can have voice with the pictures and sometimes when u have seen enough and want to hear music, you can also have it. Normally the IFE is left switched on in the Airbuses, I think it was only once that I tried and it was not working. Of course the other would be if u were unlucky to be sitted at a seat with non-working jacks.

I've never had the audio turned on on the airbuses this year. I've flown them about 10 times since year beginning. (Either on LHR-MXP, LHR-FCO or FCO-MXP, vv).
Just the opposite experience for me. Audio was turned on for the whole cabin to hear without headphones. Which made it comical because there isn't really any talking. It's all done in the Mr Bean way without words. I have seen these same videos and I think they are produced in Montreal, if I'm not mistaken.
