I am flying last minute on refundable adult and senior fares with my parent. My mom has severe fear of flying and can get hysterical sometimes. I plan to do online check-in, but in case she starts acting up, is the senior refundable fare still refundable after the check-in and bp issued?
thanks

I would imagine the ticket is still refundable if you don't use it. If you checkin online, just make sure to cancel before the flight leaves. If they don't scan your boarding pass at the gate the ticket should still be unused.
If you board the plane and then have to exit the plane, you would want to visit with the gate agent to make sure you are removed from the flight.
I am guessing canceling after online checkin is fairly common, as on my Palm TX when I go Southwest's mobile enhanced website http://mobile.southwest.com the first two options are Flight Checkin and Cancel Checkin.
Yes, both of these (full fare and senior) are refundable.

One more note about OLCI and the Senior Fare. In order to be able to use OLCI for the Senior Fare it sounds like she would have to have a Rapid Rewards account and be 'age qualified' 4 to 6 weeks in advance of the flight.

However, it sounds like your mother could qualify for the blue preboard sleeve which would put her among the first preboards, so the whole OLCI and boaring group letter becomes pretty much irrelevant.
Good luck with your upcoming travel, and welcome to Flyertalk! :)
