California - Job Searching in SAN

I know its off topic but better to ask the locals.

Outside of the obvious job-search sites, i was curious if anyone knew of any other soruces of local information in the city for job searching?

I'm in marketing/pr and would love to get in touch with some recruiters in the area--but just cannot locate any.

Yes I have been using this site but have found it to be mostly entry-level and mid-level jobs.

Im curious if anyone can reccomend well-known management recruiters or search firms in the area who hire at VP type level?
