I will be making my first flight AKL-KIX in June with a 4 hour layover before flying on to Tokyo. I assume there is no AirNZ lounge but can anyone tell me what *A lounge options there are, what sort of facilities are on offer, and what the KIX terminal is like in general? Many thanks.

I am assuming you will be taking a domestic flight onwards with ANA, ir it KIX-NRT or ITM-HND? If so, the Signet lounge is available for *G .. it's nice, but nothing special. Lots of drink choices but only some nibbles to eat. Most pax purchase a 'boxed' lunch from the ANA shop outside the lounge and bring this in.

As Humshee noted you can avail yourself of the Domestic Signet lounge to the right after security. Before you enter security you might want to have a neck and shoulder massage or a shower.........please refer to the following link:

Also there are quite a few food options available before security including a convenience store , Starbucks, HaagenDazs, McDonalds :p etc., and many Japanese options ^ !
Kanku is a very easy airport to use......too bad about the prices!

Thanks for the replies. I am flying KIX-HMD, but with JAL. (Just realised this have no idea why my agent booked me on JAL). Can I use the ANA lounge anyway as a *A arrival? (I am *G) Are there other *A lounge options in the international terminal at least?

No access as an arrival. This is the same for all *A-designated lounges (unless you have open door privileges through status eg SQ PPS or paid membership allows this). There are not too many true arrivals lounges.

No, you will not be able to use the Signet lounge as they will ask for your NH domestic boarding pass at the door....you could change your reservation :D. It probably has to do with the fact that JAL is ANZ codeshare partner in Japan  ) and ANZ will be the only *A carrier not to move to the new Narita terminal on June 2.
On JAL you can pay a 1,000 YEN surcharge and sit in class "J".

There is no lounge access with this fare!
Hi - any chance you're going on Sat 10 June? If so, we'll be on the same flight. I have a few hours in KIX too.
