Hi all,

Just wondering as a *Gold member if I will be able to access the lounges when flying on Freedom when the code share changes happen??

What code share changes? The A320 flights will still be NZ codes and treated as NZ flights AFAIK - much like Air Nelson, Eagle Air or Mount Cook Airlines.

So there is no way the SYD-HLZ A320 services will pick up a NZ flight number?

Id much rather SYD-HLZ than SYD-AKL-HLZ

Correct.

Hamilton, Palmerston North and Dunedin flights are Freedom flights - no points available, and not part of the Star Alliance so no lounge privileges.

I'm not surprised - HLZ immigration surely has to be better than AKL, no awkward transfer to deal with, shorter journey time.

BTW does anyone know what happened to the trial NZ was doing making international->domestic connecting pax carry their own bags across to domestic terminal?
