I don't want to start a new thread, and when I find the old one, I will go back to my report on the new Melbourne lounge and add this on there, but I am sitting here on broadband in the MEL lounge again, and have to report that the second experience has reinforced my view of the first.
There is a very well presented hot meal, including a soup and a lamb casserole, a first rate selection of wines, and also literally a waiting service.
The lounge itself is excellent in its layout, but the personal service is something that I have not experienced in any international lounge, although I haven't recently been through HKG and seen the CX lounge.
The whole concept is brilliant.
I am off on a RTW in about five weeks which includes the US, Europe, the Middle East and SE Asia, so it will be interesting to put the MEL lounge in perspective.
In the meantime, I promise I will get the photo part of my report up as soon as I can get my mind around it.
