Okay, I'm in the Twin Cities for a few days, and am interested in going out to see some waterfowl. My wife and I have made a few nature trips the past couple of days and have seen plenty of interesting stuff, but the lakes have largely been lacking ducks, geese, etc.

Anyone have suggestions as to where to go? There are just too many lakes to choose from. :D

This area is just south of the Mall of America. There is always plenty of wildlife there Ducks, Geese, and Turkeys. There is about 14,000 acres of refuge land.

This place is worth a visit - but "south of the MOA" isn't quite correct. It is actually down American Blvd - just head past the Embassy Suites and the entrance to the parking lot is right across from the entrance to the Hilton Parking Lot.
