Hilton HHonors - Fast track promo question

If you're already a gold and you are on a Fast Track Gold promo, and it shows up under "Maintain Gold Status" on your VIP Tier, how long will your gold status last if you complete it?

Someone on here said in one of the threads that a Fast Track status only counts until April of the following year, but I'm already covered until April of next year by my already earned Gold. Is the Fast Track worthless, or will it extend me to 2008?

I believe if you were to complete the Platinum fast track in the next couple of months you would only be elevated through April, 2007. If, however, you were to do the Platinum challenge later in the year (after July? August? Sept.? How about it, FTers?) I think you would then get the status through April, 2008. Is there a reason you want/have to do it now? Do you see yourself as having enough stays to get Plat. Fast Track in the fall? Make sure you are registered with the HHonors desk for the Fast Track whenever you do it. Trying to make sense of the rolling qualifications online is an exercise in futility for most of us. Good luck and my apologies in advance if other FTers have more specific and/or accurate info on the dates in 2006 that are late enough to get you Platinum status through 4/2008.

I think this is some kind of mistake. If you already qualified for Gold, the only fast track you could be offered is for Diamond. I got that kind of offer and yes, it only gives you Diamond until 4/2007.

Didn't want to start a new threat for this as it also is a question about fast track.

Do reward stays count as qualifying stays for the fast track promo?

Once you reach status for Gold, don't worry about all this website sillyness about requalifying for Gold via fast track. I got all that nonsense when I fast-tracked to Gold. Once you reach it, you reach it.

Also, award stays count as stays period. So yes, award would count as fast track.
