Only ones that I could find were -
Delhi > Frankfurt > Dusseldorf > Newcastle (LH)
Delhi > Frankfurt > London > Teeside Airport (LH)
Delhi > Zurich > Brussels > Newcastle (Swiss)
Delhi > Bangkok > London > Teeside (Thai)
The Lufthansa fare to LHR is only 250 pounds + Tax where as the fare to NCL is close to 470 + Tax !!
What would you suggest? Am i missing out on easier connections? Would only consider MME or NCL as final destinations. MAN is too far away.
Need to fly on *A for the status miles and the 20Kg extra luggage allowance!
Thanks in advance for the advice! ^

A couple of other options are:
Delhi > Frankfurt > Copenhagen > Newcastle (LH/SK)
Delhi > Munich > Dusseldorf > Teesside (LH, and about 3hrs quicker than via FRA)

Thanks.... I never knew it would be quicker via Munich. Can we have a stayover on the outbound or return for one night (under 24hrs) in Dusseldorf or Frankfurt?

And search for Mumbai not Bombay. ;) It is there currently in the "to" list only, but not in the "from" list.
For a ticket ex. India, I would highly recommend using a TA for the best fares anyways.
P.S.: IIRC, I remember your thread from a while ago in Travelbuzz, about Schengen visas, French embassy etc, so I thought this routing would avoid all those hassles too. :)

Yeah I thought as much... Could not find it in the from list.
The problem that time was getting a Visa for the French Polynesia for my wife, which really turned out to be a pain in the *** :( But we got it in the end. It turned out that it wasn't really the consulates fault. More like my TA's for making false bookings at a different hotel just to get the visa. Needless to say that TA is now no longer associated with me.
Thanks for the advice!

On the DEL > FRA > DUS > NCL jouney, would it be possible to break the jouney in DUS for a night?

Under 24 hours is fine.
So when you reach FRA at 7am ish, take a 2pm-ish connection to DUS. You can then stay there till the next morning before flying to NCL. Obviously you'll need an intelligent TA to sort this out though!
