Air New Zealand Air Points - GBP 1,000 all-in LHR-HKG on NZ 38/39 - how can a US traveller book this fare?

I'm looking at a Christmas holiday visit Dec 23 - Jan 1 to HKG (I live in Chicago) and fares are usually quite expensive during this season. At the same time, I've been very tempted to try out NZ's new Premier Economy seats, and know that NZ is starting LHR-HKG roundtrip.
There is a web special on the UK website of Air New Zealand for GBP1,000 all-in for the dates I wanted, but you can only book with a credit card that is registered to a UK address. I tried the US website, but to search for Premier Economy, you have to click through to the web specials, which are for US origination fares only, so I can't buy the LHR-HKG special.
Any idea what I should do?
Thanks!

Have you tried just using your cc on the UK site? Some/most such stated restrictions on airline sites don't prevent the booking from working.

I haven't tried because the drop down box for the "COUNTRY" field where I enter the credit card details is defaulted to "UNITED KINGDOM."

Just try and see if it works. I know on some other airlines sites entering CC info correct other than country (and state) works - eg AA, UA, BA.

Just put all the info in correctly other than the country. With BA, the system just deals with it (not sure about NZ) BUT you could call their UK res system and explain that you are looking to go ex-LHR (you could even say you were temporarily located in the UK for work or something if they ask why ex-LHR)

Good advice. Should I assume that the two side of the 3-2 configuration upstairs for Premier Economy, in the exit row, is the best seat? Does NZ pre-assign seating?

You got PM. Apart from that - yes, NZ does preassigned seats.
