I am flying VIE-FRA several times per year. Last time I booked a ticket on Opodo and I had to spent ~280 EUR for the flight, which is ~50-100 EUR more than I ever spent before. Unfortunately, I did not check the booking class beforehand and was therefore quite annoyed that despite the relatively expensive ticket, it was booked in L class and I was credited only 125 miles for each segment. On the other hand, all cheaper tickets I was able to book before were always in Q, V or W class (750 miles/segment).
So what is the reason for that? Why do I get less miles credited for a much more expensive flight? Was it because I booked on opodo.de and not directly by LH or OS? Was it just bad luck? I guess it does not help to complain...
