Air New Zealand Air Points - Miles in K Class

I know that usually K class tickets don't get miles but I seem to remember recently ANZ had a special period where they were giving miles to saver fares and K class tickets. Does thing ring a bell with anyone ?

I recently took ANZ from RAR -AKL in K class and the miles didn't credit. Am I just deluding myself about remembering this ?

The ticket was RAR-AKL-SYD; should I have got the miles for the AKL-SYD leg or was it ONLY for point to point tickets ?

I think the promotion was designed for point to point tickets but it didn't specify. If your tickets was booked in Feb or Mar, I am sure by ringing them they have no reason to turn you down.
