I am flying business to Doha and want to know what its like?? Even if you set your standards low, you may still be disappointed. There is, however, a (limited) selection of food (better than the SK/AC LHR lounge) which I found quite nice. QR have recently introduced the excellent A330 on the MAN-DOH route, so the experience should be the same as flying from Heathrow... except that MAN is a much nicer airport to be in than LHR :) Cheers robster100 Apr 21, 06, 7:02 pm The UA lounge at LHR is NOT nice. Then again, SQ first class lounge in Singapore is fantastic!!! Then again, at £1100 for business class ticket to Singapore, why should i complain if the lounge is bad!!! If you fly from LHR you can get away with a 39 minute connection (trust me, it's enough :) ) time on the way, and a 1 or 2 hour connection on the way back. When flying from Manchester, the connection time in Doha will be long.
