Air New Zealand Air Points - SYD to YVR

I would like to book a two J class seats using Aeroplan points on NZ for March 2007. SYD-AKL-LAX or SFO .
I was told that NZ makes there seats available 350 days out but the Aeroplan office state that NZ is changing and they are not sure of the number of days out at this time. Can anyone povide information on when NZ J class seats would be available to AC.

why fly syd-akl-sfo/lax-yvr when you can go syd-hnl-yvr. it takes much less time to do it that way.

Have you flown on AC's flight from SYD to YVR via HNL in J?I have flown AC's 767 in J; I have flown NZ's 777 in 'new' C. I also can't blame the OP for wanting to go NZ ;)

It's hard to be certain, but it appears that while some J seats are released at 350 days, many more appear 60-90 days out during off-peak seasons. The following thread may be of interest:
