I'm not sure if this is a great mileage run, but if you need 1000 miles on the quick, I found this on travelocity, dream maps. Good only mid week, in May. I didn't look to see if you can connect in DFW or ORD, but I am guessing that would be a really big no.
I hope this helps someone.
Mike
The only legal routing is the non-stop, so DFW and ORD are most definitely no-nos. The other drawback appears to be availability - one can fly T/W/Th only, but there also appears to be a $68+ return on other days.
That said, however, $54.60 all in isn't too bad for two quick segments.

I wish other carriers would match this and permit connections!
I'd love to fly TPA-EWR-MIA-EWR-TPA for less than $100!!!
Thanks for the tip.

50 round trips to EXP for around $2500.... Just get lots of work done on those short flights!

50 RT ? Don't you need 100 RT's (100 x 2 x 500 miles) to get EXP ?

EXP can be gained with miles (100,000) or segments (100).

Sampling Wed. May 3rd, you can do 10 segments, starting in TPA at 630 am and getting back in at 1030pm. A 2 hour layovers around noon but otherwise not too much time in between... So EXP is possible in the month of May.

10 days of this sounds like an ugly way to go from zero status to EXP.

Yea seriously. Makes me think of the guy who did all that crazy flying with Air Canada... Not quite the same, but of almost the same intensity.
This might not be bad for getting to near 100 segments, then completing the 100 segments in the second half of the year to get EXP for the remainder of the year and until Feb of two years from now (it still works like this, right?)

You would get EXP until 2/08 regardless when you completed the 100 segments. This is not like the challenges for Gold/Plat. This is treated as regular qualification.

Mike-
Many thanks for the fare heads up! I hadn't been sold on Dream Maps until now, but I will begin using it as an additional resource to sniff out such future opportunities...
Just issued 7 RT's (originating out of Miami). The only flights left (at the $34+tax price) permitted just one RT per calendar day...on the midday flights with a block-to-block time of 2:45hrs, so that works out pretty darn good for me!
As indicated, to do it most cost-effectively, one would obviously need 50 RT's to qualify for EXP using segments (& I'm doing it based on EQM's this year b/c I'm too far along in the process), but just for the covenience factor alone I decided to buy/fly these EQM's at 5.4 c/m. Clearly, something in 3.5-4.5 cent cost-per-EQM is my normal range, but these trips are so quick & easy for me, I couldn't pass them up. Great post...thank you.
Cheers!

I have to say I was getting excited when I thought this routing was from Taipei. But I gather is not.

No - TPA is Tampa, not Taipei (TPE).

Needless to say, this fare has been pulled & is no longer available. I was hoping to pick up another flight or two; oh well... :(
