hey folks,
headed to los cabos in the morning. Just wondering if i need any power adaptors for my cellphone charger and laptop? Do they use the same power we do here in the US? Thanks!

You won't need anything.

Depending on where you stay, you may need to get something called a "trifacicos" or something like this. It's an adapter to go from a three-pronged plug to a two-pronged outlet. The better hotels will lend you the adapter upon request, or will have the three-pronged outlets.
Also, although Mexico runs on the same voltage, the number of cycles of their electric grid is slightly off, which can lead to mild overheating when you draw lots of power (v.g. recharging your laptop).

Don't need any special adapters at Westin Los Cabos. Around town I didn't really notice any differences in the plug. You could probably find an adapter at the Costco or the hardware store there if you need one.

Thanks!! Great little tool.
I have a couple of universal plug adapters that I carry. They also include minor surge protection. Since all my cell/laptop power supplies are 100-240, it is all I need anywhere that I've been. Also solves 3 prong to 2 prong issues in US/Mexico.
