This has been discussed in other forums, but a search revealed nothing specifically addressing this for NZ at LAX.
The oft repeated theme: In a week I will be meeting friends at LAX (they are connecting from WN) and taking them to dinner. In addition to both of them being Koru Club members, they are flying business, and it would be nice if I could spend that amount of extra time with them. The issue, as always, is getting past security. The fail safe from other threads seems to be to buy a fully refundable ticket if one cannot get a gate pass, which is the preferred method.
Usually (according to the other threads), the gate pass depends on the airline or the check-in agent. Are there good (or any) chances for getting a pass from the checkin agent on NZ?
