American Express Membership Rewards - FYF Enroll Jan-Feb06

Was looking at my AmEx MR activity online.

There is a siziable bonus entitled 'FYF Enroll Jan-Feb06'

Any clue of what FYF is or what the bonus is for?

This is some or all of your bonus points for registering for a 2X bonus promotion during the months of January and February 2006. I always presumed that FYF meant first year free since amex offers alot of their charge cards with the 1st year free although many who have gotten the bonus do not have a free card any longer.

This is the double points offer for Jan-Feb.

Hopefully it is only part on my point bonus as Joe suggest.

Also note that the bonus is based on calendar dates Jan-Feb, not your statement dates. So the amount won't equal your Jan/Feb statement amounts.
