Online Travel Booking and Bidding Agencies - Overcharged by Priceline

I was overcharged $150 by priceline ($150 over my agreed to bid), the tickets were cancelled by United and priceline was not charged but priceline is still demanding full payment from me. Anyone with a similar situation and recommeded actions for results? Priceline refused to do anything. Thanx.

I think there is some discussion about similar issues on Better Bidding (http://www.betterbidding.com) . There are probably several people on this board that will have helpful info too. I've yet to have a problem with Priceline (KNock on wood). Good luck getting this resolved.

Dispute the charge with your CC. Plain and simple. Then move on.

Was the confirmation right and then you were overcharged or was the confirmation and charge over your agreed upon bid? I have always printed the screen before I click enter so I have a record. I have never needed to use what I've printed because I also have never had a problem
