Have purchased a DONE3 on CX ticket stock. Wish to burn some AA miles and thus placed my AA gold number on my AA segment JFK-LAX. Called AA to request 15K mileage upgrade from J to F. No dice, was told that could not do the upgrade as ticket on CX stock not AA stock.
