American Express Membership Rewards - Doubling up on AMEX starwood cards allowed?

Anybody know if you can get multiple starwood sign-up bonuses with additional cards (like chase UA cards), or is it a one time deal??? I hear some CC companies enforce the no multiple sign-up bonus rules...

I carry the SW Amex as my primary card and I tried to double up as you mentioned. It didn't work for me because of my primary card. If your next question is "how can I get it to work?" just cancel and reapply. So long as you don't do it more then every six months Amex will allow it.

This should be in the Amex forum. I'm sure a mod will move it when one sees it.

I have 3 *wood Amex cards and have collected the bonuses on each.
