Australia, New Zealand & the South Pacific - Sydney, or Perth?View Full Version : Sydney, or Perth? hairpeace Mar 24, 06, 8:16 pm Late August trip with no motive, except maybe to have gelato and admire art. Winter and Spring are low rainfall seasons so the weather should be pretty good with a daily maximum mean of 18 degrees C and minimums around 9C. Personally, I think Sydney winters are amongst the best on earth. I don't know Perth very well but I would venture to suggest you'll have more gelato and art options in the harbour city. The Biennale (http://www.mca.com.au/default.asp?page_id=10&content_id=1920) is on from June to August and the NSW Art Gallery (http://www.artgallery.nsw.gov.au/exhibitions/coming) has a ongoing series of exhibitions. Perth is great BUT a long way from anywhere. ;) SDF_Traveler Mar 25, 06, 8:53 am Late August trip with no motive, except maybe to have gelato and admire art. I am currently in Melbourne (also a great city), but I fly Melbourne to Perth on a regular basis for business. SDF_Traveler aurigakb Mar 27, 06, 4:30 am sorry |
