Right now, they're hovering $400-430/person. Is this as low as it'll go, based on your guesses? Or should I wait for a sale?

JetBlue's published fares for JFK-OAK range from $154-$344 with the most recent fare increases. However, to stay competitive, for certain dates and availability $119 and $139 fares are still available. I just paid $99 for JFK-SEA, but those fares won't be around anymore and will be missed. Sales if lucky will bring it down to $109 or $119...but keep checking the website for those dates because if the fare decreases after purchase, they will credit your TrueBlue account with the difference. They won't charge you a $25 downgrade fee like some other airlines do.

JetBlue's flights are very, very full this spring. It's not rocket science that summer flights could be equally full at significantly higher fares than you see right now.

Capacity increase by other carriers for summer is lower this summer. AA for example has decided to not ramp up seasonal flts too much. This will help sustain the higher prices by Jetblue. So, grab the prices you see now and if you see a drop in the future, call and ask for a credit. Summer will probably be very busy.

I doubt the fare will go down, it might go down alittle if you change your departure dates to midweek or a saturday. But as other stated, odds of fares going down during the summer is really really slim, however, i'm not saying it won't... It may go down. Even if you bought ur ticket now and the fare does go down, there are ways to get credits of the difference as stated in other posts.
