TravelBuzz! - Does ORD T1 (B/C) & T2 (E/F) have Starbucks/Borders for Wi-Fi?

I'm routing through ORD tomorrow morning & back on Monday. Currently I have a 1-hour connection (presuming flights are on time) both ways, which means I'll head from T1-C to T-2 E/F for the UX portion.

But thinking 'just in case' - ie, late & miss connection - I'd have 5 hour 'til next flight on the outbound & 3-hour on the return.

I let my RCC membership lapse & can't renew it until April at the earliest. So Plan B...

Does ORD have Starbucks or Borders at ORD that I could access T-Mobile at, or do any of the ORD RCC's 'leak' so I could access T-Mobile outside of them?

I posted this in the Chicago forum, but not certain how often that gets read so thought I'd post here & add the Borders section as well.

Starbucks is in T1 but not in T2 (also in T3, though not relevant to your question). No idea if they have wifi, I only use my laptop in the lounge. Think Starbucks is by C29 but I don't go into T1 very often.

Try hanging outside of one of the RCC's to see if you can pick up a signal.

Hi there. I made the connection so didn't have time to check it out. There is a Starbucks stand at T2 after you come through the long hallway from T1. There were some tables/chairs next to it. Saw a guy working on his laptop, but didn't stop to ask if he was doing wi-fi or just work, as the flight from LAX arrived late & I had to hustle. If there's a delay on the way back I'll try outside the RCCs. Thx.

I can be found in T3 99% of the time, but I am pretty sure there is no wireless at any of the Starbucks at ORD. The only places would be the clubs and there are two Laptop Lanes there. One is under the escalator as you leave concourse B to C and the other is near B6. Not exactly what you were looking for, but good info to know.

Thanks. I've used the laptop lanes a # of times at ORD when passing through when I just needed 5 minutes to check my email & hadn't brought my laptop. Because of that I wished on a # of occasions that LL would expand to other airports.

The price would get pretty hefty at LL if I was in there for a # of hours due to a delay, though. I also noticed when hustling through yest morning that they weren't open yet (I was zooming through at 6:20am & LL was closed).

Someone also said to try & find the CO club on T2 & camp outside it, and try to pick up their free wi-fi.

When I fly back on Tues if the flight is delayed, then I'd have 3 hour layover so would probably try to sit outside the RCC & hope to catch the leak.
