TravelBuzz! - Update on the A380 for debut customer

I'm not sure where on FlyerTalk to put this, since S.P.A.M. is all about alternative miles/points programs and OMNI is, well, too bizarre for words.

So, I figured I'd start with the forum for the Airbus 380 launch customer.

This just out of Airbus North America HQ this morning:

On Friday, March 24 -- unless unexpectedly pre-empted by other, breaking, news -- NBC Nightly News will run a segment on Airbus and the A380. It will be an "advance piece" on the A380 evacuation test scheduled to occur Sunday, March 26, in Hamburg. Barry Eccleston is being taped for the segment this afternoon, and a portion of his interview (about half a minute) will appear as part of the piece.

NBC Nightly News airs at different times in different time zones, so please check your local listings. (In the DC area, home of Airbus North America, it's on at 7PM on Channel 4.)
