Hi
Has anyone done a New Years Eve cruise in Sydney?
Thinking of doing one but not sure what they are like? and ideas?
If any one has been can you suggest the best companies.
Thanks Sarah xxx

Brave person wanting to Harbour cruise (a particular kind of masochism at the best of times) on New Years Eve when most of Sydney pleasure boats are on the Harbour, many of them with guests and crews three quarters tanked, the water is particularly choppy, prices for anything are high and there's no guarantee you see the fireworks any better than say, from The Rocks.

Must agree with Constant Motion- we viewed fireworks this past New Years' Eve from "Lawn with the View," in Botanical Gardens on bluff above OH- AUD175 included meal hamper and was well worth price- We could see both the crowd at the Opera House grounds and the number of pleasure craft in the Harbour-

Gets AWFUL busy on the water.
Every vessel with a motor is out there.
