I'm really looking forward to the Swiss entry into *A, it opens up a lot of new opportunities.
The introduction offer is not bad either.
Too bad they don't have many routes out of EAP anymore.
They have an amazing lounge there I would love to visit, check the pics:

I was chcking out LX for good biz prices to DAR/NBO/JRO, but turns out they're as expensive as KL. BA still has a few good-ish prices in the upper 20k-range. :(

It's interesting that the information about EB points on Swiss and SAA is not yet published on the Swedish site (www.sas.se). It is published on the Danish site (and possibly other sites)...
Neither is the information that Icelandair is no longer a EB-partner after April 21st.
SK should really try to consolidate their sites and making the information the same all over the sites. It is extremly annoying that the sites contains different information (besides campaign information that of course may be different) :td: :td:
Just another bad example.

This is great news since im flying DAR-ZRH on April 1st - 5000 extra points plus 200% on this route. I was expecting zero points since LX only posted miles to M&M until 1 April.

I just realized that my flight is actually leaving on the 31st at 21.35 - less than 3 hours before these new rules apply. :(
Is 14.000 points worth staying 3 extra days in DAR?

That would depend the cost of staying 3 more days. :)

You can always accumulate some miles elsewhere.
Swiss has standing agreements as 'other airlines' with several programmes.
UA MP currently posts at 100% for all econ and 100% for discounted business and 125% for C and 150% for F. (I guess 5300 for C on DAR-ZRH)
AA posts at 100% for all econ and 125% for all C and 150% for F. Transatlantics cease on the 31st of March when they become *A, but other flights post until 31 October 2006. AA is good if you use AY as they have always posted at 100% unlike with a european programme in OW.
Swiss had 20 euro to europe economy fares this month that posted at 100% with AA. My MAD - ARN was 140 euro total and posted with 3600 miles. would have got 900 or so with EB.

I did a search and did not come up with anything. Does/Did SQ have a discounted C fare that made it interesting as a miliage run or is this an add on to a RTW fare? 17A is certainly the perfect seat.

Its the last segments on my CRTWSTAR3 and I wanted to get some extra PPS sectors.
My day went to &*%"*%"*ç thanks to LX. NEVER trust their schedules. I got delayed twice in one day and missed two connections. Sitting in the Swiss lounge in ZRH now with no SQ flight today...
