Hilton HHonors - Amex points posting times/schedule?

Was wondering how the posting of points for the Hilton Amex works...for my amex membership rewards, there is about a 1 month lag (The points came out of "pending" recently for rewards earned in early Feb).

Also, how long does the app bonus take to show up?

My HHonors Amex points post before I get the bill in the mail. Can't remember how long the bonus points took though.

You mean the upcoming statement's points post before the statement arrives? Wow, if that's true, that's QUITE the departure from my amex membership rewards.

In my experience, posting of signup-related HHonors Amex bonus points is erratic. By contrast, first purchase points for the Citi HHonors Visa post right away.

My first HHonors Amex card, the 2,500 points per stay up to four stays didn't post, and several calls first to Amex then to the HHonors Diamond Desk were necessary to have it credited. It may be that HHonors just gave me the points. My second HHonors Amex, the points per stay posted promptly, but only 5,000 of the 15,000-mile first purchase bonus has posted. The Amex rep says the remainder will post "within 12 weeks."

Yup. The Honors Visa is the same way.

With my starwood amex, my wife's starwood amex, and w/ my new hilton amex, points post within 2 days of the bill being issued.

IOW - by the time comes to me in the mail, my points have posted.

SPG AMEX - - points post same day as statement cutoff date

HH AMEX - - points post 3-5 days following statement cutoff (but generally before the paper statement arrives)

I got my Amex HHonors card on 3/8, earned 569 points throught the statement cutoff date of 3/10. The points and the 10,000 bonus posted on 3/12. My 2,500 first stay bonus posted 3 days after my first stay on 3/13. Overall, very quick and I'm happy as it pushed me over the 175,000 points needed for 6 nights in HI.

Yes, the points usually post two days after the statement closes. Fairly quick IMO.
