Hertz - Company preventing me from receiving points

My company gives us immediate Hertz #1 Gold Status, but what they failed to tell us was they do not give us any Hertz points whatsoever. Is there a way to redeem all the previous car rentals I've done with my #1 Gold Status, and link it to a personal account?
Has anyone done this? ...or know of how I can take advantage of the points?
Apparently the company says to not spam us with Hertz emails which in turn disallows any of us from receiving our points. I've even gone so far as to email Hertz saying I'll waive this right, but they said so long as the company policy is in place, they cannot reward the points to that account.
Thanks for the help,
-Kevin

you could try this
I did not earn #1 Awards Points on one of my qualified rentals. What can I do? A: If you would like to add a qualified Hertz rental to your Points total, please send a copy of your Rental Agreement to The Hertz Corporation, PO Box 268925, Oklahoma City, OK 73126-8925. Please be sure to include your Hertz #1 Club or Hertz #1 Club Gold Number.

My company is the same way -- and Hertz said they couldn't do anything as long as the corporate CDP is on the contract.
As a result, I now just opt for AA/UA miles or Marriott points instead.

Call the Hertz Gold line and they can run an audit for you to see if your rentals qualify for points. If they do, they can credit your account. In your rentals, you need to choose the Hertz #1 Awards to get credit for the points. If you choose any other reward programs, you will not be able to get credits for your old rentals. To ensure that your future rentals qualify for #1 Awards Points, tell them that you want the code "ZE1" permanently attached to your profile.

I tried both suggestions above with no luck.
The company completely locks us out from receiving any of the points ... whether it be Hertz points or Airline/hotel points.
I guess I'm SOL in finding a workaround

I'm in the same boat, no Hertz points for me. BUT, I have been able to get credit for airline miles when booking rentals via the hertz website. I also opt for southwest airlines RR credits as those will add up to a free ticket a bit faster than a measly 500 points will with the bigger airlines.
On the Hertz website, does it not allow you to attach your frequent flier number to the reservation? Ie is the button greyed out or the like?
If that doesn't work, perhaps you can get another hertz gold membership, just for work so that your personal profile isn't locked out? Not sure if Hertz will allow that, but it's just a thought ...

Alternatively, for airline miles, you could try adding your frequent-flier number when you return the car back. I've done this many times when I forget to add my frequent-flier number whilst making my reservation.

There are so many codes on these boards.
My company CDP is a very expensive rental (I have no idea why), I never use it for personal use.

The reason why the company does not allow you to get #1 points is as follows:
If the company has in its contract that hertz can not send any promotional materials to you, then you are disqualified from #1 pints. since they use adds to support there program. Here is a copy of a letter that they send out:
Dear #1 Awards Participant:
Hertz recognizes the need to handle data about our customers with care. We have adopted policies and procedures designed to make sure that data about our customers is accurate and that we do not use customer data inconsistently with their wishes.
As part of our procedures, we review our records to determine whether the uses that we are making of data about you are consistent with any elections identified in your Hertz #1 Club Gold or Hertz #1 Club Profile. We have noticed that the sponsor of the counter discount program ("CDP") that you identified in your Hertz#1 Club Gold or Hertz #1 Club Profile has instructed Hertz not to send you any marketing offers or materials. We have also noted that you have elected to participate in the Hertz #1 Awards program. Because Hertz #1 Awards is a marketing program, your CDP sponsor's instruction is inconsistent with your participation in the program. Based on your CDP sponsor's current instruction, we are unable to communicate with you regarding the program, including informing you of any points you have accumulated. If we cannot communicate with you regarding the Hertz #1 Awards program, we will be unable to allow you to continue to participate in it.
Hertz will continue to observe the CDP sponsor's instructions until the sponsor changes its instructions to us.
Thank you for your business with Hertz. We apologize for any inconvenience that this letter causes but hope that you will understand that we are only writing so that we may serve you better.
Sincerely,
Hertz #1 Awards

My company has always said no to points from car rentals and have always stopped #1 awards. But you used to be able to get airline points -- in theory you were supposed to pay the $.50-$2.00 excise tax for those points yourself, and I did that. But just recently my company upped the ante and now even if you pick airline points, the system surpresses it and you get nothing. Ugh.

This is part of the point. The CO negotiates a rate including insurance coverages. Part of that rate negotiation may be excluding points/miles to get a better discount.
For my company, I can get Hertz points, but if I select miles, a mysterious $5 fee appears along with my 500 mile credit. :td:
