SAN offered to UG me into one a couple weeks back..............For like a $30 per day UG charge.

They told me they go out at similar rates to the new lincoln (prestige) vehicle.

I laughed at them.

Sorry i cannot answer your question more specifically.

I'm a regular here at a local hle and they get me pretty much anything I want.

I believe most G's still are CV/GM's though (until the 05 fleet gets replaced with some new cars now that Hertz is no longer with Ford).

Go for the 300c if you have the choice as it is loaded (sunroof, xenon, hemi, leather, heated seats, better sound system, climate control, stereo controls on the wheel, etc) but if you're fuel-conscious go for the regular 300.

Yes, I got a 300c in Orange County after the crappy Suburu they gave me broke down and I demanded something decent as a #1 Gold member.

How would I go about requesting/getting one of these?

Hey rgeer -- have you thought about calling the manager at the station where you'll be renting (ALB) and asking?

How do you find his/his phone number?

I'd try calling the Albany Airport and asking for the Hertz counter then when you get them, ask for the station manager. Otherwise, perhaps try directory assistance in Albany for Hertz. It isn't that difficult to call the stations directly.

My recommendation is to do this two days or so before your rental so they might actually have an idea of what cars are on the lot; if you call far in advance they will likely have no idea.

Your reservation details should have the local phone number of the station where you are picking up. You can also look in the Locations section on Hertz.com

I don't have any personal experience calling those numbers, though, as of yet.
