Hertz - Hertz Status Change Question

In 2004 I rented more then enough times to make PC. So in 2005 I was a PC and generally did OK on the upgrade lottery. However, I didn't rent enough to qualify again as my travel declined.

However, when I look at my profile on Hertz it still shows as PC. So when do they change the status? If they have continued me, I will probably make a better effort to use Hertz over the next year.... I have not received any new materials this year!

Status is calculated on a calendar year basis but is not awarded until April of the following year. If you did not qualify based on 2005 rentals then your staus will downgrade in April 2006.

Thanks. For the airlines it's Feb so I thougth the changes were the same dates for the rental car companies.

I'll probably stick with Hertz until I get downgraded, but after that I may wind up moving, My firm would perfer we use Avis and/or National so.....

I earned Presidents Circle about 10 days ago, but noticed that my on line account status had not changed and I was still be asked to pay for an upgrade and my cars were not parked in the Presidents Circle section. I called the customer service line. They went into the system and manually changed my status, but they told me that status changes are normally made on a quarterly basis. So if you make it to this level, be prepared to make a call if you want to start receiving the benefits right away.
