My local newspaper's Wheels section had an article about Jaguar and their problems with lease & fleet cars. The more interesting bit was that they will stop deliveries to Hertz in the 2nd quarter of the year.

Thats interesting, but quite frankly, Jaguar (as a brand) needs to deliver more cars not less. That being said, i doubt they will stop providing product to Hertz, unless Hertz has decided not to offer Jag's anymore.

Wonder if has anything to do with Hertz no longer having the Ford/PAG connection?

In any case, the only car I'll really miss is the XJ8. The X-Type and S-Type have overpriced daily rates, and the XK8 is an aging model. If this means they'll bring in other luxury cars instead (such as BMWs or Mercedes), then I'm all for it. ^

I really like the little Jag with 4WD - very fun to drive.

OMG really? I thought that was the worse one. Very bumpy, harsh ride, especially for rear seat passengers. Not very fast, not very sharp steering. Reminds me of the Hyundai XG350L.
