Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - JFK - JKT fares

JFK CX YVR CX X/HKG CX JKT CX HKG CX JFK

I have been looking at fares on the above routing and it appears that H class is the lowest available. H class is great, as 1 BA mile for each mile flown, however: - Surely CX sell tickets ex New York in lower booking classes?

ex JFK, K is the lowest I see at CX.com, M is from consolidator.

If lowest price is your real goal, then AA is offering a W class fare JFK-NRT-SIN (with some alternatives on how to do that) for just under $1000 + normal AA add-ons.

SIN-CGK fares are very cheap- ranging from $SG78 (<$US50) each way on Valuair/Jetstarasia to $SG135 to $SG270 round trip on Garuda or $SG300++ round trip on Singapore Air.

If miles are the goal - stay with CX

Note schedules may not be the greatest (even on CX) and an overnight in HKG or SIN will probably be needed
on the way in.
