Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer - FRA - SIN flying SQ and LH: where to meet?

Gents,

I am not an expert in flying around the world so my flight to AKL in 2 weeks will not only be my longest flight ever but also my very first in Business Class. Really starting to get nervous and excited about this now.

But here´s a question for you experts:

I will fly SQ325 from FRA to SIN at 22:20 whilst a friend will fly LH 776 at 22:35. I will connect from DUS arriving at 19:10 whilst he gets in from LHR on LH 4737 at 20:20. As far as I could see all these flight arrive/depart at/from Terminal 1 in FRA.

Now, with both of us flighing in C I wonder if the schedule above would allow for the 2 of us to meet up in any of the LH lounges at FRA or whether the stop-over time will be too short to do so. Also, which Lounge should we agree to meet up in as I read on this forum that there are numerous lounges available. Any recommendations from your site?

You ought to be able to hang out (the both of you) in the first SEN lounge you see. IIRC - they don't depart from gates that are miles apart either.

I did SQ325 in F and LH 777 in F about three weeks ago.

The service and atmosphere were absolutely superb on the SQ flight (FRA to SIN). The service was truly disappointing and the atmosphere was tense upstairs on the LH flight back to Frankfurt.

These LH matrons gggrrrrrrrrr... :mad:

The only thing that made up for the flight was the splendid LH FCT lounge experience.

I will do all SQ if I have to do it again. I am ready to forget the FCT lounge. The Senator lounges will do.

I would much rather have proper F service onboard and I find the SQ seats so much nicer.

Both LH & SQ flights depart from "B" area (could even be neighbouring gates). So head towards "B" area and on the upper level there is a LH business class lounge. Unless one of you is *G I dont think you have access to the LH SEN lounge (which is next door to the business class lounge). If one of you is *G then can guest the other in to SEN lounge (so you'll need to meet up outside the lounge).
