Has anyone noticed that Hilton.com is suddenly showing parking fees all over the place today? I first saw it when booking at a Hampton in Miami, then again for an HGI in Seattle. Then I saw it at the HGI in Spokane (GEG) which I know is certainly not correct.

Doubletree Biltmore/Asheville is listed at 17.00 for self-parking and 20.00 for valet. Is this correct?

I saw the same thing on a suburban Ohio ES when I did eCheck-in a couple hours ago. Very wrong.

Same numbers at the SEA Hampton Inn. Pretty funny. And (as BamaVol says) very wrong.

Same numbers for Houston Hilton Westchase... I'm currently staying there, parking is free, and they have no plans to change that, according to the GM.

All the properties in New Mexico want the $17/$20 fee, even in the small towns. I canceled all my reservations.

Gotta be a bug in the system...

My reward stay for this weekend (spring training trip -- yay!) at the Hampton Inn Tampa East shows the same $17/20 fees.

Funny thing is that this is a brand new hotel that is on the outskirts of Tampa -- not exactly a metro area with valet parking and parking garages. In fact, when I look on Google Earth for the address, I see that the satellite photo shows a large, rolling field where the hotel is. I DOUBT there's a parking problem.

I rechecked the hotels I'm staying at over the next few weeks and the fees were dropped from their pages today.
