Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - 747 Business Class bassinet position?

Booked a bassinet position on a HKG-LAX flight. They said the bassinet position is in the middle section downstairs where there is 3 across. Does CX have a bassinet position on the 2-side? I.e. window side?

I've never seen a 744 without the basinet attachment points at all the bulkheads. Whether CX sells the side ones is a different question (they may be available only as a last resort).

No. There are no bassinet clamps on the window/aisle sides. The bassinets can only be in the centre sections. Note that this section is the only place where the video monitor is flushed against the wall. Everywhere else, they 'stick' out.

The bassinet seats in the F cabin on CX are at the Row 4 - window seats. Here the bassinet 'sits' on the area between your seat and the wall. But is secured by straps.
