I will need to bid on a Bangkok hotel for July, just overnight as a stopover. I prefer to use PL SIN as they apparently accept Aussie credit cards direct. The only forum for PL Asia I could find is this one which seems to have fizzled out. http://p197.ezboard.com/bpricelineasiadiscussions

I can't believe that Asian people don't have a more active board out there somewhere. Doesn anyone know of a better Asia PL board?

I want to know what bids people are having success with in SGD preferably for the Shangri-La.

biddingfortravel does seem to have bids for this zone. If you are bidding in foreign currency on another pl site simply use xe.com to convert the currency. BTW, using pl.hk or pl.sg you may get different hotels than on the us version of pl

Bidding for travel does have bids from these zones, but I would advise you that priceline.com.hk(and .sg) do seem to have higher prices than .com (I've seen some people say ~5-7% higher). I believe it relates to their rebid policy and their numerous promotions. The Asian Pricelines have more cities in Asia (and Australia) and, I strongly believe, more hotels in each city.

Yes, that is why I am looking for a board that is specific to the Asian Priceline product. I do know they have more hotels than US Priceline. It is a pain for me to use US Priceline because it won't accept my Aussie credit card and I have to get a friend to do it and reimburse him.

I think what you are looking for does not exist (the ezboard devoted to it is basically inative). I would use bft and betterbidding to try and get an ides of price and go from there. Of course you have unlimited rebids on sg and hk by raising your bid. The hotels may in fact be more numerous so the current boards are not going to be perfect
