At times like this, good friends can come in handy. or simply use
the alarm on the cell phone.

some countries have local wake up call services, look up the
local phone books, but nothing international that i know of.

You could get a kall8 toll free number and use that, but thinking the timer on the phone if you have one may be a better choice.

I used something in England, but I'm not sure what it was. Bookmarked on my old computer. I had forgotten all about it. Time to do some digging...
Does your cell phone not have an alarm or calendar? Just make it ring whenever.

My guess is that any modern cell phone (GSM, 3G or other) has an internal alarm clock. All of my phones have had this option since I bought my first GSM mobile in 1997. Just try and find out in your manual!

Good luck.

asksunday.com will call yr cell phone (and the hotel as a back up if you ask them) for a wake up call as part of their monthly service.

If you're in a hotel anyways, why not just have the hotel call you in your room?

Every phone I have ever owned had an alarm...this callback stuff seems like way too much effort for a simple problem.

also depending on your phone, you can even add your own alert tones either by bluetooth or usb. for me, i transferred an mp3 of reveille ;) and it works great (if anyone would like it it, pm me your e-mail address.)
