Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - comped silver status

i realize silver aint much, but i thought i'd share this anyway. an MPC green friend of mine flew CX YVR-HKG r/t in F and 2 months later, he checked his MPC page and found he was upgraded to silver despite still missing about 10k miles.
