Lafayette is on my locus of travel again. It's been a few years.
Any recommendations for quality dining would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,

My wife and I were at a wedding in Thibodeaux and a friends father raved about the oysters at Dupuy's in Abbeville. IIRC, it's Abbeville is about 20 minutes south of Lafayette. We did stop there and the oysters were good.
A google turned this up:

If you've got the time, drive out to D.J.'s restaurant on Highway 97 in Basile. It's an authentic Cajun honky-tonk (family friendly, though), with very good food.
