Travel Technology - Free wireless access at SIN airport..

Travelling thru SIN airport then switch to Starhub for your roaming calls - they will send you an sms with access information to their wireless network..
It's great if you have a long transit.. free wireless just for quickly switching to the starhub network..

anybody run across this before?

I got this SMS from them too. I would've tried it, but my connection time was too short to make it worth the time.

I might make an attempt at it at the end of this month, when I go back there.

Really, it's a nice option to have, but there's always the faster (and more secure) ethernet ports throughout the terminals.

I agree that this is a good service from StarHub. It also works around town - the Coffee Bean chain has StarHub wifi coverage.

You need to make sure you stay on StarHub while you're using the wifi - I switched back to M1 one time and my wifi connection dried up about 2 mins later! :D

I've also received SMS from Singtel saying that they have the same service but I've not tried that
