Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - V class tickets LHR-HKG + MPC enquiry

Hi,

First, I'd like to ask if MPC really invites asiamiles members who've earned over
30000 miles in a year by flying CX or other OW carriers. Also I've know and
heard of MPC members who are below 18, is it possible coz it seems that they
only allow members above the age of 18?

Second, I'd like to ask about the price of the V class tickets LHR-HKG and
HKG-LHR on CX on the following travelling dates, as cheap (and the shortest
stays as I think they are cheaper) as possible:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
LHR - HKG:
13/10 - CX252
30/10 - CX255

15/12 - CX250
8/1 - CX257

9/2 - CX252
19/2 - CX255

30/3 - CX250
23/4 - CX257

(Alternatives to avoid high season departure):
13/10 - CX252
8/1 - CX257

9/2 - CX252
23/4 - CX257

30/10 - CX255*
15/12 - CX250*

19/2 - CX255*
30/3 - CX250*

*HKG-LHR instead of LHR-HKG
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
These are all for my mileage run for asiamiles and MPC miles. Any help will be
more than appreciated, thanks a lot!

AHEM !

This forum is NOT for us to find and research fares for you..

You can pick up the phone and find these out for yourself.

But just so you know since you might be completely CLUELESS, try:

CX RESERVATIONS in UK: + 44(20) 8834-8888. They have great fares that all earn miles. Not necessarily in V class though.

TRAILFINDERS. One of the largest travel agency sites in the UK. There are many locations. Find the one nearest to you at
www.trailfinders.co.uk

For HKG-LHR airfares, you'd have to find out from HKG based agents. Just FYI - any flights originating from HKG will be the most expensive, you might want to start your travel from other places which are cheaper.. ie TPE, BKK. Outbound usually no stopping over at HKG though... but you'll have to find out all the details yourself by calling around.

As to the MPC issue, you may always TRY applying for MPC membership without putting in your date of birth.. But a cross reference between that and your asiamiles membership might blow your cover. So you might want to start 'anew'. Some people have successfully received MPC cards .. see: http://www.cathaytalk.com/showthread.php?t=1680&page=2 Hmmm.. actually you've asked those questions here there too ! ;)
