The head of the world's airline club warned the industry against the danger of overcapacity, ahead of an air show at which carriers are expected to add to the record aircraft orders they booked last year.

Simplifying the air transport business is the key for a profitable industry, said Giovanni Bisignani, director general and CEO of the International Air Transport Association at the opening of the Second IATA/Asian Aerospace Aviation Summit in Singapore.
