Hi,

I'm interested in any comments on F preferences between 747, 343, and 300 aircraft with 3 cabins (FCY).

Do any of the 3 have advantages or disadvantages over the others?

Thanks.

There are many resources out there. Why don't you also do a search in the forum. It has been discussed a lot in this forum previously.

This should help too.

But the straightforward answer is the B747-400.

I don't think there's really much of a difference. But 744 2A/2K definately feels more "private"

The 340 and 330 (not A300) are pretty much the same, but I prefer the 747 - a much more spacious feeling cabin, with privacy in rows 1 and 2 if you want that, or lots of working space in 4A/K if you prefer that. And no through traffic on the 747.

agreed. i think that's the general consensus for singletons in F. couples would prefer 1A/K or 3/4/D/G.

For me, it's the 747 without a doubt. For a starters, it is a nicer plane to look at - I get a thrill walking onto a 747 that is absent on an Airbus (although the A380 might change that). Secondly, there is no galley forward of the F cabin unlike the Airbus so it feels a lot more private. Thirdly, it has 12 seats, rather than 8, in F which does not actually make it feel any busier but does give you a 75% chance of a window seat against only 50% on an Airbus. I flew several segments recently in F and was interested to find out that the crew generally expressed a preference for the 747 also. Some say it is noiser but, apart from when the undercarriage goes up, I did not notice it - and you will be too busy watching Studio CX anyway...

Put it a different way, would I choose my particular segment based on a 747 rather than 330/340 (i.e. from LHR)? Definitely (and I did).

The 747 is a great plane love to fly it.But that gear noise is terrible.
Also the 777 is nice and wide
The 340 and 330 are the quietest F cabin in the air.
So as long as it is F who care's :D
