Hertz - Possible to add Gold Number to a booking made via an online travel agency

I have a couple of car rentals coming up with Hertz, but booked via ebookers.com rather than direct through the Hertz website. Is it possible to add my Gold account number to these bookings?

Yes! Just call Hertz and give them the confirmation numbers and ask them to add your #1 Gold number.

Can this be done on-line? I know you can look up a reservations on-line at Hertz.com - I'm wondering if you can add your Gold number via the web.
