Hi All,
May or may not be the best forum for this but I will be in Italy for a few weeks in May. Will be staying in Starwood's the whole time due to plat status. Anyone have any suggestions on getting my laundry done when I run out of clean clothes?
Thanks.
The hotel probably offers laundry service -- but it will be expensive.
(I'll never forget my first time in Paris, where I paid the hotel more to wash my shirts than the shirts cost new.)
If you have the free time and want to save money, you'll probably discover there's a laundromat close to you.
It's a very good way to leave the tourist experience for a while and enter "real life" while on the road.

You could always handwash some of your garmnets. Personally I pay the $3.00 per pair to clean my underpants and $1.50 per pair of socks.

And if you ask around....bellmen/bartenders,etc -I guarantee you will find someone whose brother/mother/friend will do the laundry for you at a fair price.

Thats kind of what I was hoping for. Though, I tried this at the Orchid in Hawaii this year and the houskeeper who agreed to do it backed out because she thought she woul dget in trouble... :(

You can probably find a place that will pick up your laundry and drop it off for a fraction of the cost. Depends on the hassle factor but ask the concierge and see what he says.
