Anyone have any thoughts on what this hotel might be? Amenities include restaurant, fitness center, high speed i-net access (for a fee), and business center. $62 a night for a Sat/Sun in February.
I've got a confirmed reservation for 50 Euros/night for the BW Delphi, breakfast included, which has favorable tripadvisor comments, but its a BW.
Thanks.

Where did you get the 50 Euro rate for the Delphi? That seems very good to me.

Did you try setting up a vacation package that would cover the same dates of your stay, and seeing what hotels show up? I think it's Holiday Inn or Novotel.

Did you check better bidding and BFT? They might be able to help.

I'd forgotten that trick with hotwire -- it is probably the Holiday Inn-de Bolelaan. Located near RAI -- kind of away from everything.

The rate for the BW Delphi is hidden on the Best Western www site and it is very good. Select winter breaks on the pull down and lo and behold. At first I though it might have been a prepay rate, but it isn't. Cancel up to 24 hours in advance. The location looks pretty good, the rate certainly is. And there are some nice reviews on TripAdvisor.

thanks for the quick responses here.

A 50 euro rate at the BW Delphi is a nice rate. The best I ever did was about 60 euros weekday. The comp breakfast is not gourmet but beware some of the one single bed rooms can be really tiny. I suggest you view the room before you do a final commit. The hotel is a short walk from the tram station (No 25 I believe) and many nice restaurants are on the nearby Beethovenstraat. I find the BW Delphi an occasional welcome financial relief in pricy hotel Amsterdam.

BW Delphi is in fact a nice little place. That being said, I would not pay more than 75 euros/night. I was able to book at the 50 euro rate this year and the 60 euro rate last year. The previous poster was right, it is tram #25 and I would say its 15 minutes from Central Station via tram, not too far away.

Sometimes the BW Eden has the winter special rate as well and in my opinion is a much nicer hotel than the BW Delphi.
