Hi,
My dad is going to need a minivan out of jfk starting feb12 and ending on the 23rd. Are there any good deals out there for these dates. I found a $20(i think) off of a one week rental, but nothing better yet.
Thankx

Dunno about JFK in particular, but when I rented a minivan at PIT last september the AAA CDP gave me the best deal. They did not ask for proof of membership (though I have it). If you have AAA, use your club code as the CDP. If you don't, you can use 215 (that's the one I use), 14 which is cited in the coupon thread (yes, just 14) or many other small numbers which correspond to the individual AAA club numbers.
Another popular CDP is 706900 which I have used several times. When I was pricing, though, it gave a higher price for the minivan. It seems best for getting a good deal on a full size. Sometimes the AAA rate will beat it on the smaller sized cars anyway.
This list has AAA coupons http://ww1.aaa.com/coupon/ZEmemberaaa.html The one in the middle that says Take Your Pick may well work, using PC# 958753 to get up to $25 off a Premium or higher. This usually includes SUVs and minivans. It's $5/day up to $25, so for a week you would get the $25.
The 11-day rental may make it tough to find much better than that. I've seen a coupon good for a monthly rental before (not recently), but nothing that's good for a two-week or anything of that sort.
There may be a possibility that the original free day coupon PC 924932 works on this. I dunno, but if it gives you a free day on a minivan, that discount is probably more than $25. Can't hurt to try, but it may only be for smaller cars.

Shouldn't matter. If it's a 5-day rental, it'll generally be a weekly rate anyway. If it's 4 days, then the cost of 4 days should be less than the weekly rate. The coupon I mentioned is $5 off per day, so it doesn't matter if it's weekly or just 4 days. The free day coupon code if it works only requires 2 paid days.
