Online Travel Booking and Bidding Agencies - JFK or LA GUARDIA on priceline?
I have to go to St. Johns University for a conference at the end of June, which I see is located between JFK and La Guardia airports. I would like advice on which area is better for a priceline bid and when would be the best time to bid. Also, I have never used Hotwire, only Priceline, and wonder if there is an advantage to one over the other when bidding on that airport area in NY. Thanks!
Well to answer your first question, you don't need to choose. You can use NYC as an 'airport' and it should search between all three local airports.

Are you asking about bidding on an airplane ticket or a hotel?
If you're bidding on a ticket, the airport doesn't really matter.... public transportation from LGA not as good as it is from JFK but it exists.
Airport to fly into doesn't matter much, but if you're talking hotel, I'd bid LGA over JFK since some decent eating options and other things are closer to LGA than JFK - JFK hotels are very isolated that way.

oh dear, so sorry--I neglected to mention that I am taking the train in from Boston, so I am just asking for bidding information for a hotel.
