Will be a first time visitor to Perth in early March. Would like a quiet hotel, with a kitchen and river view, for the first four days. The Sebel Residence - 60 Royal St East Perth seems a possibility. The following have kitchens but no river views - Pacific International Suites on Murray Street and Quest West End at Murray and Mulligan St. Can someone help me?
Is there a good gluten-free restaurant/bakery in Perth?
My travel tip: On my last trip to Sydney stayed in a "five star-quality" studio apartment in the Wharf Apartments. The place was quiet, beautifully furnished and had a millionaire's view to the west.

I was working in Perth a few years back and was put up by the company I was working for at High-Tor apts., right near the Mend St. Ferry. Nice place, had a kitchen and laundry and a gorgeous view of the Swan River and downtown Perth. The only downside was that it was also across the street from the Zoo and the gallahs woke me up @ like 0600 practically every morning.
Other than that, I can't say a word against it. Staff was great, room was great,
restaurants and pub right down the street and the ferry into downtown Perth is just out the back and down the path.
